Alison Marie Jewelry is the natural evolution of what began as MeMe Jewelry—a brand built on heartfelt craftsmanship, intentional design, and deep personal meaning.

I’m Ali Gilheany, metalsmith and designer behind the work. My love for jewelry-making has been lifelong, but in 2021 I formally stepped into metalsmithing, refining my skills and voice to create pieces that honor both artistry and story. Each design is handcrafted with care, patience, and a respect for the materials themselves.

Ethically sourced stones are at the heart of my work. I personally select each gemstone from small, family-run lapidaries, ensuring every piece is truly one of a kind and grounded in integrity. No two stones—and no two stories—are ever the same.

The name MeMe Jewelry was a tribute to my grandmother, whose influence remains woven into everything I create. She was a woman ahead of her time—sharp-witted, independent, generous, and endlessly creative. Her impeccable taste in jewelry and fashion, along with her strength and warmth, continue to inspire my work. While the brand has evolved, her spirit remains the foundation.
